I started with mud pies...and have continued to be artistic all my life, majoring in art and working as a photographer for over 28 years. Along the way, I've dabbled in crafts, including cement creations and stained glass. When I saw my first concrete leaf in 2009, I knew this was the medium for me. Now I can combine my love of gardening, photography, painting and mud! I enjoy growing the leaves in my garden, watching for that perfect one to use in a creation. I work from photographs of the leaves to help achieve a realistic look.   My hypertufa troughs are made to resemble antique English troughs.

I just wanted to say your work has inspired me. Over the past 2 years I have been making concrete leaves for fun. I love it!. We have a garden and I love using our rhubarb leaves. Your leaves are the first I've seen online that have really impressed me. I don't know how you make them so realistic. They are beautiful and you should be charging more money-  from a  fellow artist
